The Student Radio Festival offers activities for children and young people to communicate through radio and music, serving as an official initiative for Media Education under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports. This Festival, successfully organized in Greece for the past eight years, has become a multi-day celebration of connection and collaboration among student radio and music\/art groups, who produce podcasts, radio broadcasts, and original songs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The main aim is for young participants to discover the world of radio as a medium for information, expression, and entertainment, and as a tool for artistic creation, through original student journalism activities during the Festival. Organized annually, the Festival offers various activities and workshops for children up to 18 years old, who utilize radio as a medium of edutainment<\/em>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Festival engages the entire school community of the host region (students, teachers, non-profit organizations, and parent associations), as well as local government agencies (Municipalities and Regions), and academic institutions (students and professors), to provide hands-on activities with a playful approach. These entertaining and artistic experiences focus on developing soft skills through collaboration and interaction. It is characterized by inclusivity, creativity, and high-quality technological support, enabling children and teens to develop skills in an environment of cooperation and learning. The Festival promotes social awareness by addressing significant issues and fostering social cohesion while maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere that encourages participation and creates a celebratory spirit.<\/p>\n
