Spianada Square in Corfu is the largest square in the Balkans and one of the largest in Europe. Its central section, the Lower Square (Kato Plateia), features an expansive lawn that serves as the only Cricket Ground in Greece. This sport is a heritage from the British Protectorate era and remains active to this day, giving the location a unique, aristocratic character.
