Guided tour by the Cultural Association of Metagitsi

The members of Cultural Association of Metagitsi village are willing to offer a walking tour to 20 primary school students and their companions. The hiking distance will be 2 kilometres in asphalt next to the village and you will end up on a hill where you can enjoy the breath-taking view!

From this spot, you will enjoy the view of the sea gulf unfold in front of you, between the 2 peninsulas of Halkidiki: Mount Athos and Sithonia.

Following this tour, you will learn the history of ‘Prophet Elias’ church which is located at the view spot and you will relax enjoying the beautiful rural scenery. Then you will return to the village, experience the hospitality of the villagers, and enjoy various homemade treats at the main square of the village.
