16 Apr The Podcasts of the Festival’s Mixed Teams and the Mentors’ Distinctions!
A unique touch of innovation and collaboration marked the 9th Student Radio Festival, with the creation of mixed teams of students from different schools for the first time. These teams, guided by ten experienced mentors, showcased their impressive energy and creativity, spontaneously producing 23 unique podcasts on the morning of Friday, April 11, 2025.
This initiative provided young creators with the opportunity to collaborate, exchange ideas, and develop new skills. Later, representatives of the teams presented their podcasts to the mentors’ plenary, who undertook the difficult task of evaluating and selecting the best creations.

The announcement of the evaluation results took place during the third part of the Awards Ceremony for the “Make It Heard 2025” Podcast Competition on the evening of the same day. The announcement was made by the mentors’ representative, the well-known radio producer Apostolos Papageorgiou. Five Special Distinctions were awarded to teams that stood out for the quality of their creative work.
The five Special Distinctions awarded are as follows:

The team of mentors who played a key role in the success of this initiative included:
- Konstantinos Diamantaras – Vice Rector of Internationalization, Public Relations, and E-Governance at the International Hellenic University (IHU), Professor
- Marina Delianidi – PhD Candidate in the Department of Information and Electronic Systems Engineering at IHU
- George Kalliris – Professor at the Department of Journalism and Mass Media, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)
- Dimitris Papacharalambous – Audiovisual Education Specialist and Lyricist
- Apostolos Paraskevas – Education Consultant PE70, 2nd Regional Position of Primary Education Thessaloniki, Coordinator of the Interregional Thematic Network “Internet Safety”
- George Kolokotronis – Officer of the Educational Technology Sector, Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus
- Apostolos Papageorgiou – Radio Producer, Announcer, Advertising Copywriter, and Producer of Radio and TV Spots
- Hara Skoubopoulou – Member of the Pedagogical Team of the Scientific Society “European School Radio”
- Vasilis Soliopoulos – Journalist, Member of the Journalists’ Union of Macedonia-Thrace (ESIEM-TH)
- Rigas Kotsakis – Associate Professor at the Department of Information and Electronic Systems Engineering, IHU
